Back at It

To say I've slacked on keeping up with this blog is definitely an understatement - and as I read through the post from a year ago, which also happens to be my last post, my first thoughts are to choose a name for this blog that is more fitting. Being a post-grad seems so long ago. Today, what seems more fitting are along the lines of...Here I an Adulthood or The Many Lives of Dating. However, the decision to change a blog name is to heavy to make at the moment - so stay tuned for an update.

To start off the purpose of this blog post is more of a "catch me up" and what an easier way than bullets- so here goes

1.) Job - still being Chicago publicist
2.) Food - here is a change - I can finally say the pizza phase has past and a current favorite is undecided
3.) Romance - or a lack of I should say - there's something about summers in Chicago that bring men out from the woodworks - to the point where publishing a book about MY experiences navigating the dating world is a thought I'm not taking lightly.

Explaining further - there's the nice one, the funny one, the athletic one, the too too nice one, the live too far one (hate to say it but it's just too hard if you're not in a 2 neighborhood radius i.e. Old Town, Lakeview, River North) and the list goes on, but I can't seem to get past the 2nd date - and frankly I'm not sure if I want to. Once again this is just a bring you up to speed update - so more to come on this front, but long story short ..dating is not as glamorous as it seems and talking about your job, interests and items on the menu does get old
4.) Housing - relocated from a condo to walk up - thoughts are TBD
5.) Social Life - this never changes - still enjoying my nights/ early mornings :)

The list was suppose to be evidence of my growth, but I don't know how successful it came across. Maybe it's the late night or hunger...
